  • 13:40: Low code and apps give hospital agile advantage in Covid response - Marc Hadwin, Head of Digital Services, University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust
    The pandemic has brought many requirements which have needed to be built and adapted quickly. Marc Hadwin's presentation covers how using the FX and MX tools, Morecambe Bay have implemented a number of applications which have supported. The organisations response for Vaccine Administration, Lateral Flow reporting, and Antibody and Swab testing. The low code tools have allowed Morecambe Bay to adapt as requirements have rapidly changed (Download slides)

    Karen Shakespeare discusses the integrated digital patient record which pulls key information from several different health and social care systems in to one combined record, enabling health and care professionals access to key information about patients in their care in one place (Download slides)
  • 15:18: The role of automation in partnership working across Integrated Care Systems - Richard Small, Intelligent Automation Lead, Suffolk County Council, and
    Jon Cameron, Assistant Director of Digital Automation, East Suffolk and North Essex NHS Foundation Trust, with brief introduction by Richard Boddington, Head of Local Government and Housing, Blue Prism
    This session looks at how automation is supporting partnership working across the Suffolk and North East Integrated Care System to better manage population health and citizen outcomes.     In February of 2021 techUK launched our Ten Point Plan for Healthtech, which made a number of recommendations to NHSX, NHS Digital and the service in general to improve how it works with industry.
