Carl Dalby, risk specialist at the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority, shares how it is using AI to improve risk management

Speaking on day one of UKAuthority's AI and Data4Good 2022, he outlined four 'proof of concept' projects underway - three of which are using the risk log information from the past 10 years from across the NDA group and existing software licences. These are recognising patterns and exposure to risk, identifying risk in budget management and delivering a real time analysis of meetings.

The fourth project, Risk Live, is using AI to connect group strategic risks (GSR) information with real time global events to deliver a 'living' risk picture to help with urgent decision making.
