West Lancashire Borough Council has launched an interactive online hub for residents to provide feedback on its policies and proposals.

Named Your Voice….West Lancashire, it sits within the council’s website and features a number of projects – currently including the Local Plan 2023-2040 and a proposed public spaces protection order – along with a tenant hub for residents of council properties.

The council said it is intended to improve engagement with the public and help it improve its services.

Engaging and easy

Council leader Councillor Ian Moran commented: "The views of our residents shape everything we do.  We wanted an engaging and easy way for residents to tell us what they think and Your Voice West Lancashire is a fantastic improvement to how our customers can interact with us."

West Lancashire has also developed a partnership with inclusion charity We Are Digital to provide free remote one-to-one training and support sessions to help local people improve their digital skills and is providing free devices to help people interact with it online.
