Telford and Wrekin Council has launched a new mobile app for residents to access services through a streamlined system.

Named MyTelford, it replaces the Everyday Telford app, although both will run alongside each other until the latter is archived in the near future.

The new app is free to download for iOS and Android and provides access to over 100 services ranging from reporting potholes to requesting a new bin and finding information on local leisure offers.

It also enables residents to contact local councillors.

Leader of the council Councillor Shaun Davies said, “As part of the Council Plan, we want to provide a community focused, innovative council providing efficient, effective and quality services.

“The MyTelford app encompasses this perfectly as it enables residents to access council services immediately, wherever they are in the borough. With such a breadth of information, we hope that the app will continue to help all residents live well in their community.”
