Is this the dawn of a new culture of data sharing in health and social care?
UKAuthority's research partnership with Nutanix explored the impact of Covid-19 on data sharing across health and local government. Indeed, among the few positive factors to emerge from the pandemic has been the acceleration of digital initiatives in health and social care - it has injected a degree of urgency that fuelled a new mindset for quickly harnessing technology and data.
Digital leaders in the field provided input for the paper, contributing to a debate organised by UKAuthority and Nutanix, and conducted on the basis of non-attribution of individual statements. The aim was to help each other and other public officials to identify and deal quickly with the issues – and to grasp the opportunities that are in sight for their organisations. This is a silver lining on the Covid-19 cloud.
