North Wales Housing (NWH) is moving its digital systems to the cloud under a new partnership with Civica.

They have agreed on a 10-year, £800,000 deal under which the housing association will implement the company’s Cx Housing, Asset Management and Contractor Workforce software.

NWH conducted a series of demonstrations of the systems with its customers and is taking their feedback for the development of a new self-service portal.

The investment with Civica is aimed at improving the resilience and security of systems, providing the scope for greater automation and supporting NWH’s plan to build 500 more homes over the next five years.

Improve satisfaction

Its finance and resources director Jayne Owen said: “Our aim is to further improve customer and staff satisfaction and we see the Civica platform as paramount to this.

“That said we recognise this is not an IT project but more a cultural transformation project for our organisation. Staff engagement so far has been fantastic; we believe this is the key to a successful implementation.”

NWH provides homes and services to over 2,700 households across North Wales and has expertise in homes for older people.
