NHS shows big jump in GP records access
The NHS has released figures showing that more than 95% of GP practices are now set up to offer online access to patient records, including test results, diagnoses, referrals and medication history. This is up from just 3% in January of this year.
The change has come from the Patient Online programme, which had a target of April this year for the provision of coded information through online channels.
The NHS also said that the ‘no show’ rates for appointments booked online are 35% lower than for appointments booked conventionally.

In recent months three other housing organisations – Barrow in Furness Borough Council, Cecil Housing Trust and Orwell Housing Association – have also signed to use Civica Housing Cx.

Alongside self-service permit application pages, there are public online payment and appeals pages to enable the automation of penalty charge notice payment collections and the processing of appeals information.
A spokesperson for Northgate said: “The solution enjoys the same high level of security provided to our policing customers, and is hosted on Amazon AWS Cloud infrastructure, which typically has a 99.95% uptime service level.”
