Land Registry adds function to customer portal

HM Land Registry has added a new function to its customer portal to enable users to review their colleague’s applications for land registration.

It said this comes in response to customer feedback and will provide support for staff in organisations that handle multiple applications.

Prior to this uses could only access their own applications. Now they can search for any from their business through title numbers, application barcode reference or their own customer reference.

Land Registry said the service is currently only available on its customer portal but it is looking at how it can be made available for its direct to API (Business Gateway) customers.

It added that it is planning to deliver further enhancements during the summer.
