Humberside Police and software company Tisski have developed an app for frontline police officers to record incidents of burglaries.

Detective Chief Inspector Doug Blackwood explains how the app helps officers gather the right information accurately and quickly and provides bespoke crime prevention advice to the victim. The information captured will also be used by police forces to give a national view of the state of burglaries so they can spot noticeable trends.

As a result of the partnership approach between policing, technology providers and the Police Digital Service (PDS), forces can download the app for local use, free of charge, from the PDS Solutions Catalogue.
