East Renfrewshire Council is to deploy Totalmobile’s Carelink software to support its social care service.

Its East Renfrewshire Health and Social Care Partnership is planning to go live with the software to support around 600 service users by the end of this year under a four-year contract.

Totalmobile said the software will provide the team with the ability to create efficient care plans and effectively schedule staff visits, while ensuring full visibility over service capacity.

Lee McLaughlin, head of adult services, communities and wellbeing at the partnership, commented, “With this new solution, we will be able to receive live updates on the status of carers and visits - giving us the data at our fingertips to manage in a smart, effective manner.”

He added: “Modernising our Care at Home Service with Totalmobile enables us to direct more of our staff time towards supporting our service users and makes us more efficient.”
