East Hampshire District Council is preparing to move the management of its property, estates and asset information onto a single cloud platform.

It has agreed on a three-year contract to use Civica Property Management software-as-a-service.

The platform will be used for business continuity provision, cost reporting, asset management, compliance with a diary and flagging system, and be integrated with other council software such as that for financial management.

Cllr Tony Costigan, East Hampshire’s portfolio holder for property, said: “Effective management of our asset portfolios is a priority for the council; access to accurate and reliable data will enable us to make evidence based decisions and is essential to successfully deliver our objectives.

“Civica’s cloud platform will support our dynamic nature and provide a truly flexible and adaptable solution.”
