Durham County Council has chosen intelligent-I to develop a corporate data and analytics platform to support its work.

This follows a corporate business intelligence review by the two parties in the first half of last year to see how the council could better use its data.

The company said the solution, which will be based on its Accelerator Analytics suite – will bring together data from multiple sources to provide insights into council business.

Paul Darby, corporate director resources at Durham, said: “We’ve undertaken a substantial information and data improvement exercise with itelligent-i, so that the extensive data we have across the organisation as a whole, including data from our partners, can be used to deliver customer-led council services, whilst operating within budgetary parameters and compliance.”
