We will explain how our community share knowledge, tips and project insights for the greater benefit of services across the public sector. Also, we will share how NDL, like all other organisations, has re-imagined the way support is offered to it’s customer base in light of changing circumstances, now and into the future. (slides)

This session will provide overview of Socitm, our membership, services and policy themes with a focus on ‘Health & Well Communities’ which is the policy theme of my presidential year. This policy theme touches on so many areas of the public sector, from the links between social and health care, the impact of public health strategies on outcomes for whole communities, through the interactions and handoffs of responsibilities between Tier 1 & Tier 2 authorities in some parts of the country and not forgetting the implications of education in improving not just career opportunities but long term physical and mental wellbeing. (slides)
