The Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA) has launched the Ideas Marketplace as an online networking platform for innovators in the sector.

It said it provides a space where they can discuss, collaborate and share ideas with like-minded users to overcome defence and security challenges.

It provides a number of services, including news of funding opportunities from across government, access to exclusive competitions, a chance to collaborated with other innovators, and engagement with industry leaders to learn more about the defence and security landscape.

Once a user signed up to the Ideas Marketplace they can list abstracts on project hubs, get updates on funding opportunities, receive relevant news, access networking and collaboration events, find expert knowledge and get help to understand the market for an idea.

DASA, an agency of the Ministry of Defence, is one of 10 organisations involved in the platform.
