Cambridgeshire Council deploys Mosaic for adult social services

04/12/18

Cambridgeshire County Council has deployed the Mosaic case management solution to support its adult social services team.

It has completed the first phase of its deployment of the software from Servelec to replace its incumbent Swift AIS system, providing a data management system for an 800 strong adult services team. This has involved integrating forms and referencing the reports and data required to meet the statutory and legislative requirements.

Sue Grace, director of corporate and customer services at Cambridgeshire, commented: “Cambridgeshire’s development of Mosaic has been driven to try and achieve the principle that the professional discipline of social work should be delivered utilising the tools we have, which includes IT systems.”

She added: “We’re calling Mosaic our ‘system for the system’. From procurement to migration and implementation, Servelec has worked in partnership with us, and the completion of the first phase is something I, as project sponsor, am really proud of.”

The council is beginning to move into phase two development, which will cover integrating the system for mobile working, developing portals and a multi-systems integration.
