Another major contract has been agreed for the Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP), with an £18.7 million service partner award to Exponential-E.

The company, which provides cloud, IT and network services, will provide service management, a service desk and environment management for the programme.

According to the contract notice, the ARP has wanted a provider that can also show capabilities in product management to integrate elements of discrete deliverables.

The award follows another major contract earlier in the year, when Telent Technology Services was signed to provide field services for the ARP.

The programme’s elements include supporting the migration of ambulance services from the Airwave service to the Emergency Services Network, the Control Room Software project delivered under a deal with Frequentis, and the Mobile Data and Vehicle Solution project under a deal with Terrafix.

There is also a function to support the Helicopter Emergency Medical Service.
