Nutanix was founded with a bold vision: to make managing IT infrastructure so simple that it becomes invisible. It all started with bringing together compute, storage, networking, and virtualization in one invisible stack with Hyper Converged Infrastructure (HCI), this vision now extended to make clouds invisible too. In the UK, Nutanix is working with around 190 Public Sector customers to help them on their journey to a Cloud operating model whether that is Private, Public, or most often a Hybrid or Multi Cloud strategy. The starting point is the modernisation of legacy platforms and applications onto the secure Nutanix Enterprise Cloud platform, simplifying operations, automating processes, and managing the infrastructure to accelerate the delivery of improved digital services. Nutanix has partnered with UKAuthority to produce a series of briefing notes on cloud migration - the challenges, opportunities and the benefits of a hybrid cloud.

GeoPlace LLP is a public sector limited liability partnership between the Local Government Association (LGA) and Ordnance Survey. GeoPlace maintains a national infrastructure that supports the address and street information needs of the public and private sectors. Its work relies heavily on close working relationships with every local authority in England and Wales. This relationship has been developed over 20 years, to build the National Address Gazetteer infrastructure and National Street Gazetteer.  Ordnance Survey develops the range of AddressBase products from the National Address Gazetteer and OS MasterMap Highways Network from the NSG.
The Unique Property Reference Number (UPRN) and the Unique Street Reference Number (USRN) are the unique identifiers for every addressable location and street in Great Britain. They are created by local authorities who have the statutory authority to name and number every street and property and Ordnance Survey who identify objects on the landscape which may otherwise not attract an address.
The Government has now mandated the use of UPRNs and USRNs as the standard way of referencing and sharing information about properties and streets across government. This will help to improve services for citizens, reduce costs, and improve the efficiency and effectiveness of data sharing. From 1 July 2020, these identifiers will be open data.
These unique reference numbers link datasets together and share information with other organisations who also use them. They provide a comprehensive, complete and consistent identifier throughout a property's life cycle – from planning permission or street naming through to demolition.

Our goal is clear – “To aid digital transformation in the public sector, for the public good”. We believe in the manageable evolution of processes to drive efficiencies, liberate information, and improve experiences for those that both deliver and use our public services.
NDL’s end-to-end transformation products and services allow customers to free up capacity behind the scenes. This means allowing staff to focus on the tasks that matter, and aiding staff and citizens as they provide or consume frontline services. A true Digital Transformation capability built upon and fully integrated with current systems, boosting the power of existing investments and services. We’ve watched with great pride as colleagues in NHS Trusts and Local Authorities have used our solutions to achieve years’ worth of digital transformation in a matter of months, responding to the extreme challenges brought on by COVID-19. We remain committed to working alongside our community of public sector customers to make both front end and back end transformation as simple, cost-efficient and accessible as possible.
For Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust (BCHC), co-ordinating efforts of 4,500 members of staff in over 200 hospitals, clinics and health centres to deliver over 100 community and specialist services during the COVID-19 outbreak has been vital. The Trust needed to measure the virus’ impact on its services, to allow them to mobilise and galvanise resources such as staff and PPE availability, to meet the increased demand in the most effective way possible.
Because of the investment made by the Trust in 2019, BCHC’s Performance, Contracting, and Information team was able to build on those foundations to respond rapidly to recent events. They created a system to be used across the Trust that allowed the Executive and Management teams to track and visualise capacity across the organisation using NDL’s Digital Process Automation platform.
