Technology has proven its worth but there are still challenges - and opportunities - ahead for digital transformation

Despite the success and acceleration of digital transformation in the public sector over the past year there are challenges ahead for digital leaders.

From impending budget restraints and ever increasing pressure to deliver more for less to the ever increasing threat of cyber-attack, the landscape is shifting thanks to the pandemic experience. Will the future of work be virtual, face-to-face or a hybrid? And how can we meet the urgent need to address sustainability – both within the organisation’s technology and by enabling the organisation to reduce its impact on our environment?
