Challenges and opportunities ahead
Friday 18 June 2021
Despite the success and acceleration of digital transformation in the public sector over the past year there are challenges ahead for digital leaders.
From impending budget restraints and ever increasing pressure to deliver more for less to the ever increasing threat of cyber-attack, the landscape is shifting thanks to the pandemic experience. Will the future of work be virtual, face-to-face or a hybrid? And how can we meet the urgent need to address sustainability – both within the organisation’s technology and by enabling the organisation to reduce its impact on our environment?
Our panel from across front line services will identify both the key challenges ahead and the opportunities that they might bring:
Assistant Director: Customer Experience, Digital & ICT, Bracknell Forest Borough Council
Director of IMT & Chief Digital Officer, Norfolk County Council
|Ian Bell, Chief Executive, Police Digital Service|
|Andrew Puddephatt, Director - UK Public Sector, Nutanix|
