The Police Digital Service (PDS) is planning to set up a framework for police forces to procure cyber security penetration testing services.

It has published a market notice saying it is aiming to sign between four and 10 suppliers for an initial two years with options to renew for two more, beginning in October of this year. The overall value has been estimated at up to £1 million.

The framework will be open not just to police forces but to law enforcement agencies and other emergency services.

PDS currently offers a number of cyber security services through the Digital Marketplace, including planning, testing, set-up and migration, and quality assurance and performance testing.
