Northern Ireland’s Department of Finance (DoF) has signed IT services and consultancy firm Version1 as integration partner for the Land and Property Services (LPS) agency.

They have agreed on a £7 million contract to run for two years, with the option of a further two, to work on delivering a series of digitally integrated systems and outcomes, in line with LPS’s NOVA programme – aimed at improving its services for users – and other business needs.

According to the contract notice, key elements of the contract include designing and implementing an enterprise application integration platform to make solutions interoperable and enable the management of APIs, and a master data management model that includes the integration of geospatial identifiers into all LPS datasets.

Other elements include software development, data management services, third party application support, business support, enterprise architecture services and ensuring the technical ecosystem for LPS aligns with the enterprise architecture principles for the Northern Ireland Civil Service.

Version1 came out top from seven companies submitting tenders for the deal. It proceeded this contract win with a deal with LPS in December of last year to support its Oracle environments, and recently won another contract in Northern Ireland with the Department of Justice to support its Access NI Disclosure System.
