Conservation charity the National Trust has announced that Atos is its preferred partner to digitally reconfigure its membership and fundraising activities.

It is laying the ground for a transformation programme that will involve implementing a supporter engagement platform build on the Salesforce Lightening framework and using its modules along with independent apps.

Atos will carry out the integration with the National Trust’s existing technology estate, support the migration of the supporter and peripheral datasets, and develop and deploy the Salesforce ecosystem, supported by the Salesforce Centre of Excellence.

The company said the cloud based solution will provide for a remodelling of the charity’s existing networks and touchpoints, with benefits in areas such as providing new member offers and donation flexibility, and reduce its carbon footprint.

Long term vision

Jon Townsend, chief information officer of the National Trust, said: “As part of our long term vision to enhance supporter engagement and experience, we are pleased to partner with Atos to integrate business processes which support our digital transformation while reducing our energy footprint.

“This will improve agility across our technology estate and will ultimately support the conservation of heritage sites across the UK.”
