Matt Lewis becomes new Socitm vice president

Matt Lewis has been voted in as a new vice president of public sector IT association Socitm.

The chief operating officer at the Shared Resource Service (SRS) in Wales, was officially confirmed as VP at Socitm’s AGM on 8 June.

He joins his four fellow VPs along with President Sam Smith in the president’s team.

Lewis said: “I’m delighted to be voted in as Socitm’s new VP and look forward to working with Sam and her team, along with the wider organisation.  We’ve seen the very best of the public sector over the last year, in what has been extremely challenging circumstances, so it’s great to join as we work through post-COVID-19 recovery.

“My passion stems from my own career journey and my interest is to help people from all backgrounds get into the industry and build futures”.
