HM Land Registry has agreed on a deal with digital services company Kainos to act as its technical delivery partner.
It has published the notice for a contract, awarded through the Digital Marketplace, that went live in June and has a value of up to £8 million.
It provides for a partnership on a range of digital and technical programmes as part of Land Registry’s transformation portfolio, with the aim of boosting its capability in the area.
The company will work alongside its in-house digital teams supporting technical delivery, architecture, software development, web ops and test practices.
The two parties have been working together for a number of years, with Kainos having helped to build the Local Land Charges Register that went live 2018.
It also won the role of Improve Programme partner early last year. This involves the delivery of improvements to legacy systems and services to maximise efficiencies in the agency.
