Liz St Louis, assistant director of smart cities for Sunderland City Council shares details of its progress since starting its smart city journey.

At UKAuthority's Smart Places and Communities, she discussed the council's public/private sector partnership, scaling the deployment of digital infrastructure and a raft of innovative use cases as they harness the digital confidence gained across communities throughout the pandemic.
