East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust has selected Nervecentre as its preferred supplier of an electronic patient record (EPR).

The company said the acute trust has become the ninth to choose the cloud platform, which runs on a software-as-a-service architecture.

East Sussex Healthcare is planning the deployment as part of its EmPoweR EPR programme, bringing together inpatient and outpatient records with its systems for electronic prescribing, operating theatres and order comms.

Simon Merritt, chief medical officer at the trust, said: “This is an exciting time for digital change within the NHS and I am looking forward to seeing the new EPR system improve the way we work as a trust.”
