The Crown Commercial Service (CCS) has launched two new procurement frameworks for back office software and software design and implementation services.

It said they will support public sector organisations in deploying cloud based back office systems or upgrading legacy IT.

They also supplement the memorandums of understanding that CCS has signed with leading cloud service providers including Amazon Web Services, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and IBM.

The back office software framework includes 29 suppliers with a mix of major technology and consultancy firms and SMES. The software design and implementation contract takes in 57 companies.

Both frameworks consist of a single lot and are due to run until the autumn of 2023.
