Video: Nick Caley, vice president, Forgerock, explains the new rights for the individual coming come into force under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) next May - rights that are new to data protection legislation and have not existed before

The GDPR enhances the right for an individual to request information from an organisation - at no cost - and to expect a reply within 30 days. Caley discusses this power along with the right of data portability, the right to be forgotten (if appropriate) and how this can be managed via a consent dashboard.
