Don't miss out: registration closes today for next week’s UKAuthority Digital Transformation events in Cardiff and Glasgow

Book 28th March Cardiff

Book 30th March Glasgow

With the future of public services in the balance, it is now a priority to harness the capabilities of digital technology in modernising public services. A daunting financial outlook and rising demand for many services makes it a necessity to radically transform public sector business; and the effort has to begin now.

UKAuthority is providing a free opportunity for public servants to get to grips with the agenda, with events next week in Cardiff, at the Principality Stadium on 28 March, and Glasgow, at Hampden Park on 30 March.

The events will include contributions from public sector figures with experience of leading transformation initiatives, including Welsh Government CIO Martin Britton for the Cardiff event, and Nicola Graham, head of ICT at Aberdeenshire Council and chair of Socitm Scotland in Glasgow.

There will also be presentations on pioneering technology options, including Microsoft’s Dynamics 365 platform and Council 2020 vision, enabling technologies in the cloud from Pythagoras, accessing services from any device at any time from AvePoint Citizen Services, and guidance on maximising engagement for successful strategy delivery from Tisski.

These are free events, an opportunity not to be missed. You can find more details and register for either of the events on the following links:

28 March 2017 - Principality Stadium, Cardiff

30 March 2017 - Hampden Park, Glasgow
