Culture change and the RoI on digital

Share

How important is cultural and behavioural change when it comes to delivering the return on investment in digital transformation?

Here at UKAuthority we have long been interested in how the public sector can fully maximise the benefits it gains from its investment in technology.

From discussions over the years with those delivering projects - in my role both as publisher at UKAuthority and previously as head of communications for DCLG's Local Digital Programme - I believe that  driving culture and behavioural change alongside technology implementation is crucial to delivering the full return on investment (RoI) in digital.

But do you agree or disagree? What is your experience in delivering digital projects in the public sector?

With a hat tip to support from Microsoft, we are running a research project in the spring aimed at pinning down the consensus on the relationship between culture change and delivering the RoI on digital. As part of this we are inviting senior members of the public sector to join us for the morning (and lunch!) on 28 February in London for an editorial round table to debate the importance of culture change in delivering RoI from public sector digital transformation.

If you are a senior public sector employee, have direct experience of leading and delivering digital transformation programmes and would like to participate in this research please sign up via our eventbrite page here

Bring on the debate!
