The public sector must implement multi-factor authentication to keep identity safe and reduce the risk of identity theft, says Aston. 

Whilst not a panacea, multi-factor authentication will improve the risk profile. Keep patching and help citizens stay safe. And this does not just apply to citizen services - public servants' access to internal systems should also be multi-factor.
