Essex explores digital technology to transform social care

Richard Smith, interim director for technology enabled care at Essex County Council, tells UKA Live about the council's aim to redefine the customer journey and transform adult social care in order to help people live at home for longer, more safely and more independently.

The council is exploring how digital technology can help tackle issues from social isolation to the patient journey from hospital to home.
